Vim is my terminal editor of choice, and I often use GVim for non-terminal
editing as well. This page has my Linux
.vimrc and some tips that I’ve learned
to make Vim (and GVim) even more of a pleasure to use.
.vimrc is a user’s local Vim settings file. It controls settings for both
terminal vim and GVim. I also use my
.vimrc file as a quick reference.
These are commands I tend to forget about, as well as some basics for beginners.
